Under-15s

Remaining three games in this age category set the matchup for bronze medal game as the final duo was already decided before. West Coast and the Czechs U14 showed their strength in wins over Weiden and Belpa which only meant these two teams are facing each other in a final game for 5th place.

It was interesting to watch the morning game between Plzeň and Spišská Belá as it was these two teams destined to meet again in the Final. And it was an amazing game, that promised a tough battle for gold. Spišská Belá took charge early into it and built up a 5-0 lead throught the game only to see the Pilseners coming back from the dead to tie it up for 5-5.

Playoffs

Fifth place game turned into a quite decent drama. Weiden managed to put some pressure on Belpa and took the game into shootout. Diener then finall seized the victory for Swiss side.

Czech team started well in the bronze medal game, but West Coast managed to completely turn the game around inside just two minute span and crushed their opponents´ effort to win a set of medals.

The Final was much more careful in comparison with the morning encounter. Belá knew already the true strength of Pilsen´s defense as well as their effectivity in breakaways. They controlled the game most of the time and focused well so they didn´t give away many chances. They put down a stellar performance to win a well-deserved gold at this tournament.

Under-17s

Plzeň met with Weiden in bronze medal game. The Germans didn´t win any points so far in the tournament and gave away quite a few goals on their side in each of the games so the roles were clear.
